SECOND SATURDAY STUDIOS:

Fun with a Brush

Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 10 AM to 12:00 noon

Developed for children ages 7-10, these fun-filled two-hour Be an Artist! classes ignite creative experimentation while teaching fundamental art techniques. Bring your paint shirt! In this class, you’ll view interesting paintings in the exhibition Concerning the 1930s in Art: Paintings from the Schoen Collection. In this studio, you will use real artist paint and artist’s canvas to make your very own masterpiece!

Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main Street, Greensburg. Fee: $20 per class or $32 for two classes. Registration is required. Call 724/837-1500 ext. 10 for more information.
