The Compass Inn Museum is a restored stagecoach stop. The log Inn was built in 1799 and enlarged with a stone addition in 1820, after the 1817 completion of the Pittsburgh-Philadelphia Turnpike.   A National Register Site, the Compass Inn has been completely restored by the Ligonier Valley Historical Society and furnished with period pieces.  The working kitchedn, blacksmith shop and barn are reconstructed on their original sites.  Compass Inn is located 3 miles East of Ligonier on US Route 30.  Admission is charged.  Hours are May through October.  Tuesday through Saturday 11:00am-4:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm-4:00pm
